I just got done watching Avatar and have to say, I really enjoyed it. I think that now that all of the hype is gone, I could just sit and enjoy it for what it is. A sci-fi movie. Period.
No unnecessary statements or nerds freaking out over how much better Pandora is than Earth. Just a really nice looking piece of film.
As a bonus I actually delved into the Blu-Ray extras and found something I had never seen. They aren't built into the disc, but are accesses through a site with all of the latest up-to-date features and goings on in the Avatar world. Lots of clips from the super deluxe edition, but a pretty cool concept I think.
A good time was had by the Nervous one.
